Skincare routine for dry, sensitive skin—Julia's personal journey
Finding the right skincare routine can be a challenge, especially for those with sensitive skin that reacts to active ingredients.
We got to follow Julia, who has struggled with red cheeks, clogged pores, dry skin and hormonal breakouts.
This description outlines the skincare routine Julia followed during her eight-week program. If you’re experiencing similar skin concerns, use it as inspiration for how the right care can make a difference
All the photos were taken by Julia herself during the process.
Julia's skin challenges:
"I struggle with redness around my cheeks, and I think it might be rosacea. I also have times when I get a lot of whiteheads, and clogged pores usually occur around my period. My skin is very sensitive and reacts strongly to products containing active ingredients and exfoliating products. My skin is on the dry side."
Although rosacea is a chronic skin condition, we focus on relieving symptoms and improving the overall health of the skin through hydration, soothing ingredients, and gentle care.

Julia's skincare routine
Morning:
A gentle and nourishing morning cleanse provides an excellent base for subsequent products. Cleansing is followed up with two serums. Cica Serum to soothe and Hyaluronic Acid Serum to hydrate and balance the skin. Finish the routine with a rich moisturizer and a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.
1. Vitamin C Cleansing Foam
2. Vitamin C Toner
3. Cica Serum
4. Serum Hyaluronic Acid
5. Hyaluronic Acid Plumming Day Cream
6. Sunscreen (min. SPF 30)
7. Anti-pimple Patches (apply as needed)

Evening:
In the evening, the skin is cleansed again using nourishing, gentle products. This step washes away the day's buildup and prepares the skin to absorb repairing and replenishing treatments. Serum EGF is used to repair and rebuild the skin. Apply Serum BHA 2%, a gentle but effective peel, two to three times a week. It removes dead skin cells, helping to reduce clogged pores that lead to impurities.
1. Cleanse with Vitamin C Cleansing Foam and Toner
2. Serum EGF
Serum EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) helps boost the skin's natural repair and stimulates cell renewal, helping to strengthen the skin from within.
3. Serum Collagen
Collagen is an essential protein for maintaining skin structure, and this serum helps keep skin firm and elastic while reducing visible signs of aging.
4. Two to three times a week: Serum 2 % BHA
BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) is perfect for removing dead skin cells while helping to reduce clogged pores. Start slowly and listen to your skin to ensure it doesn’t become irritated.
5. Vitamin C Night Cream

During periods:
Like many women, Julia experiences hormonal breakouts in the form of pimples, whiteheads and clogged pores. To minimize outbreaks, we recommend:
1. Lacto Collagen Sheet Mask – two to three times a week
This mask soothes the skin and reduces the likelihood of whiteheads appearing. It helps rebuild the skin's balance. It provides intensive care and moisture during your periods, when hormonal fluctuations can affect the skin. Always use a moisturizer after the mask.
2. Pimple Patches as needed
After eight weeks, Julia's skin has improved significantly. Her skin no longer feels irritated and her redness has minimized. Her skin has become even and balanced.

In addition to her eight-week routine, Julia has been given these tips to follow:
- Change pillowcases to silk or satin. It doesn't wick bacteria and moisture like cotton does, and can prevent impurities. It's also beneficial for the hair, as it retains its shine and prevents it from becoming frizzy or dry.
- Change your bedding once a week to prevent bacteria that can lead to impurities.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Change your face towel every three days to prevent bacteria.
- Avoid too much sugar and junk food.
- Do not use other skincare products as this may impair the effect.
