At PUCA - PURE & CARE you will find a number of icons on our products. Here you can find the meanings and detailed descriptions of what these icons tell you about the product. Learn more about our icons in the menu below.
The Biodegradable icon
Indicates that the product (not the packaging) is 100% biodegradable.
Our Wipes are made of LENZING™ Viscose material, which is tested and passed to fulfil the requirements of compostability established by EN 13432 and were thus certified with the TÜV Austria certificates of "OK COMPOST", "OK COMPOST HOME" and "OK BIODEGRADABLE SOIL".

This is why our packaging says that a product is compostable.
The Alcohol-free icon
Indicates that the product does not contain alcohol (ethanol), which can dry out the skin.
The Vegan icon
Indicates that the product does not contain ingredients of animal origin.
The Perfume-free icon
Indicates that the product does not contain perfumes, essential oils or scented extracts.
However, our products that do not contain these ingredients may smell of the other ingredients they contain.
The Oil-free icon
Indicates that the product does not contain oils.
No essential, vegetable or mineral oils are used.
The Dermatologically tested icon
Indicates that the product is dermatologically tested.
“Dermatologically tested” means that the product has been tested on most common skin types with a positive result.
For products that have been tested at ProDerm in Germany, we provide the results of these tests, which you can find under the list of ingredients.
Products that feature the icon but do not show a test result under the ingredient list are produced in Europe and tested by the manufacturer’s partner. We are not authorised to publish these test results.
The No animal testing icon
Indicates that animal testing is not used by us or in our production.
None of our products have been tested on animals.
We support European legislation that bans animal testing of cosmetic products and ingredients.
The Silicone-free icon
Indicates that the product does not contain silicones.
Silicones are very persistent to biological degradation and most of them cannot penetrate the skin.
However, silicones often have the positive effect of giving the skin a temporary smooth texture.
The Natural fragrance icon
Indicates that the product contains natural fragrances derived from plant extracts.
The 100% Natural Origin icon
Indicates that the product contains only ingredients that are of natural origin.
